December 2015 Android OTA Update Links
This month brings both the release of Android 6.0.1 and another round of security patches for Nexus devices. The December 2015 Nexus Security Bulletin details the issues fixed but has yet to be updated to include links to specific changes that fix each bug. I’ve updated our AOSP Changes site to show
almost (android-6.0.0_r6 seems not pushed yet) all of the new changes in glorious hyper-linked diff format. Several of the disclosed issues are marked as critical security fixes. It’s important that these fixes reach users as quickly as possible. In the spirit of helping that happen, we continue to deliver on our pledge to help get these updates to security conscious individuals faster. Without further ado, I present the OTA links you all know and love.
UPDATE: It turns out that android-6.0.0_r6 is not relevant to the December security bulletin, but rather just another build for 6.0 with a 2015-11-01 security patch level.
UPDATE 2: Added OTA URLs for the Nexus 6.
